Fusta is a collection born from the desire to explore the balance between the warmth of Mid-Century style and the sobriety of Scandinavian design, giving rise to a serene, refined and essential collection.
The pieces that make up Fusta are defined by an organic and enveloping structure, sculpted in solid teak wood. Its sinuous and continuous lines flow naturally, generating a light and harmonious silhouette that dialogues with its surroundings. The wood, worked with handcrafted precision, takes on a leading role both for its materiality and its capacity to transmit tactile and visual sensations.
The project is completed with cushions designed to offer a comfortable experience of use without altering the lightness of the whole. Each element has been conceived to integrate naturally into different outdoor spaces, always maintaining a coherent and recognisable identity.
Fusta responds to a conception of design in which form, function and emotion coexist in balance. The result is a collection that goes beyond aesthetics, opting for a way of inhabiting the outdoors based on calm, wellbeing and connection with natural materials.
With Fusta, Vondom incorporates for the first time a collection made entirely in teak together with Ramón Esteve, expanding its formal universe towards a more organic and timeless sensibility without renouncing innovation in the design of outdoor furniture.
