Oficinas centrales de Mercadona

The Mercadona headquarters are spread over 80,000 square metres, a large-scale architectural project that stands out for its sober aesthetics, with a multitude of outdoor spaces that favour the well-being of employees.

The landscaped courtyards, which are located within the complex, are a source of rest and respite for the employees of the headquarters.

They are home to Vondom‘s outdoor furniture, elements selected to provide extra comfort and socialising.

The Stones collection, designed by Stefano Giovannoni and Elisa Gargan, is the furniture that has been arranged in one of the outdoor spaces of the Mercadona headquarters.

This is a collection of sinuous and elegant lines that evokes a sensation of fluidity and harmony.

In addition, its versatile and timeless design allows it to adapt to different styles and environments, bringing a sense of serenity and sophistication to any outdoor space.

Thanks to this outdoor furniture, it is possible to feel enveloped in comfort, which allows for a relaxing and comforting experience.

In addition to the Stones collection, a splendid outdoor dining area has been installed, consisting of a set of tables and chairs created to encourage employees to socialise and increase comfort.

The tables in the Faz collection, designed by Ramón Esteve, combine elegance and functionality. A design with clean, geometric lines, these tables capture the essence of sophisticated minimalism.

The chairs in the Africa collection, designed by Eugeni Quitllet, allow you to immerse yourself in infinite comfort. This is a design where ergonomics meets modern aesthetics.

The differences in the design of the set of this contract furniture have created a perfect combination resulting in a versatile space.

A space where you can hold a more relaxed meeting, have a snack, rest or brainstorm.

The colour of the furniture has been combined with the architecture of the building in order to give continuity and create a chromatic harmony. The result is a sober elegance that conveys serenity and calmness.

The large planters of the Stones collection are the complement that break up this harmony; they capture the attention, so that the user is aware of the vegetation that accompanies them.

The shared spaces, arranged throughout the building, act as focal points, promoting and strengthening interaction, communication and collaboration.

Thus fulfilling the objective of generating synergies and stimulating cooperation between different employees from different departments and colleagues within the same department.

For this project, it has been taken into account to reduce the carbon footprint as much as possible, so that practically all the elements used are of proximity.

This is why Vondom design furniture has been selected, which is produced in the headquarters located in Beneixida, Valencia, just a few kilometres away from the new Mercadona headquarters.
